What is Edgewater? Edgewater is a neighborhood of the City of Miami on Biscayne Bay, north of downtown and the Arts and Entertainment District and south of Midtown and the Upper East Side. It is roughly bounded by NE 17th Street to the south, NE 37th Street to the north, the Florida East Coast Railway and NE 1st Avenue to the west and the bay to the east. It is mostly residential, with high-rise towers along the bay and older homes on the inland streets.

  • Insurance and flood zones: bayfront areas can sit in higher-risk flood zones. Check the flood zone and the building’s coverage.
