Every homeowner is a member, and all members share the same four golf courses, racquet center and restaurants.

Member-owned since 1991

Arvida began developing Boca West in 1971. Members have owned the club since 1991. A 15-member Board of Governors, elected by the membership, runs it. To join, a buyer must own a home in Boca West, have a current member's sponsorship, and complete the club's vetting process, which includes an interview.

Many home types inside one gate

The 55 villages hold garden condominiums, villas, attached homes and single-family homes, up to the estate homes in The Island enclave. That range lets buyers enter Boca West at very different price points.

Large, recent investment

The club opened a $50 million Golf & Activities Center in 2017. In 2021 it became the first private club in the U.S. to install InRange radar technology at its driving range. In 2022 it began building a 96,000 sq ft Aquatics Center. Three more restaurants are announced on the club's website.

How the club ranks

Boca West holds Platinum Clubs of America status and was ranked #4 among U.S. country clubs in 2022, the highest in the tri-county area, per the club. BoardRoom Magazine named it an Elite Distinguished Club in 2020 and 2021.

What this means for buyers

The $235,000 entry cost is the same for a $300,000 condo and a $4 million house. On a lower-priced home, it can approach the price of the home itself. That is the first number to model before you choose a village.
