What is Waldorf Astoria Pompano? Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach is a 28-story oceanfront condominium in Pompano Beach with 92 residences, from two to five bedrooms and about 2,100 to 6,100 square feet. It is the first standalone residential project under the Waldorf Astoria brand. Related Group and Merrimac Ventures are developing it with Hilton. KORA is the design architect, Nichols Architects is the architect of record, BAMO designed the interiors and Enea designed the landscape.
Construction started in April 2025 with a $160 million construction loan from Bank OZK. The tower topped off in May 2026. Coastal Construction is the contractor. In June 2026 the developers reported more than 85% sold.

How Buying Pre-Construction Works in Florida
- Reservation and contract: you choose a residence, sign the purchase agreement and pay the first deposit.
- 15-day review period: Florida law (Section 718.503, Florida Statutes) gives buyers of a new condominium from a developer 15 days to cancel after signing and receiving the required documents. Use that time to review the documents with your attorney.
- Construction: later deposits come due on the dates or milestones in your contract.
- Closing: you pay the balance at closing, in cash or with a mortgage. If you plan to finance, start talking to lenders well before completion.
