What Makes St. Andrews Country Club Different?
St. Andrews is a resident-only estate community where every homeowner is a club member. It has two 18-hole golf courses, only single-family custom homes, and has reinvested more than $50 million in its facilities since 2016. The club has operated for more than 40 years.
Resident-only club
Only St. Andrews homeowners can be members. There are no outside members. Membership comes with the home and is mandatory.
Custom estates only
The community holds about 740 custom-built homes on more than 700 acres, with more than 70 acres of lakes. Original builders included Bloomfield, Leonard Albanese, Tuscan Homes, Audubon and Frankel Homes. Today you find original Mediterranean estates, renovated homes, and new contemporary construction on the same streets.
Continuous reinvestment
The club completed a $25 million improvement plan in 2018. It added a redesigned golf course, an 11,000 sq ft spa and an expanded tennis and fitness center. A second $27.5 million enhancement plan began in April 2022. It expanded the Lakeside Restaurant to 11,000 sq ft, rebuilt the poolside Café Blue, redesigned all 18 holes of the Fazio II course, upgraded tennis courts, and expanded the children's playground.
Golf and charity
LPGA Tour professional Morgan Pressel is the club's resident touring professional. The Morgan & Friends Fight Breast Cancer tournament, held at St. Andrews, has raised more than $8.5 million.

Types of homes
St. Andrews has three kinds of homes on the market:
- Original estates from the 1980s and 1990s, in Mediterranean and Palm Beach styles. Some trade as renovation or teardown candidates.
- Renovated estates with updated interiors, impact glass, new pools and outdoor living.
- New custom construction in contemporary, transitional and modern styles.
Homes range from about 2,600 sq ft to more than 12,000 sq ft, per Koolik. The Boca Raton Observer reports homes up to more than 15,000 sq ft. Check each listing for exact square footage.
What this means for buyers and sellers
For a buyer, the lot and its view matter as much as the house. Golf and lake frontage drive value, and older homes on strong lots often get rebuilt. For a seller, pricing has to account for the $550,000 entry cost the next buyer pays on top of the price.

Thinking About St. Andrews Country Club?
At St. Andrews, the right decision starts with the full cost: the price, the $550,000 entry, the dues and the HOA. For older estates, the land and the view can be worth more than the house. I help buyers compare those numbers before they make an offer, and I help owners understand if their home sells best as it is, renovated, or as a lot for new construction.
