Who would imagine that you can find a western show in South Florida?
You know that horses are my passion, well, I've been living in Florida for over 7 years, and since I arrived I had wanted to go to the Rodeo in Davie, 25 minutes from home, and there was always something that prevented me from going. Eventually, the planets aligned and I was able to go to this spectacular event, where the best Cowboys and Cowgirls of the State participate.
The joy begins right after you pass the entrance gate, you will find a delicious BBQ, ribs, pulled pork, funnel cake, cold beers and much more. Spectators come dressed in their western attire. it is a very colorful event.
Once you enter the stands, you feel the adrenaline of the competitors. They are warming up outside the arena and the bulls and wild horses waiting inside for them.
At 7:30 pm sharp starts the event, with a presentation and emotive parade. You will enjoy bull riding, roping, barrel racing, wild horse riding, and much more... It's definitely a great family plan.
This event is done several times a year, certainly, you should not miss it if you are in the area.
